Windex On Carpet Stains

I opted to try just using windex on it without the iron.

I use the windex with vinegar no ammonia and it works very well for a quick clean up on most stains. But there was still a pretty large brown stain on the carpet so i re saturated the area with windex laid down my cloth and pulled out my iron. It s a modern version of an old wives tale. Give windex a try if you ve got a tough stain like pet urine or blood.
